Sophia Antipolis, (its real name), is a technological and research center 23km2 large, located on the ground of Antibes, Biot, Vallauris, Mougins & Valbonne. The name comes from the Greek colony of Antipolis, which became Antibes.
That's the first center of this kind which was created in France in 1969 by a visionary man, Pierre Laffitte. It's still the largest one.
Nothing special to visit there, unless you do it for business. The facilities ar located in a nice place, in the middle of a pine forest. There are now residential districts as well.
