September the 11th 1960 a Caravelle takes off from Nice airport. It is bound to Ajaccio, in Corsica. It will never get there. There will be no survivors and there is no explanation, yet, to this crash.
A memorial was erected in the beginning of the Promenade des Anglais, not far from the airport. It bears the names of the victims.
