This statue of Liberty is an original statue made by Bartholdi, the sculptor who made the iconic statue welcoming people in New York.
It is much smaller, much smaller too than the statue of Liberty which is in Paris. This one (less than a meter high) is one of several statues which helped Bartholdi create the huge New York statue. It is known that he worked step by step, making statues larger and larger. This one is probably one of the very first statues which gave birth to their large sister.
It is located by the sea shore, Quai des Etats Unis, in front of the Opéra.
