Cap d'Ail lies between Eze and Monaco. Don't let the banal appearance the town shows when you cross it using the Low Corniches abuse you. It's indeed on of the most exclusive place on the Riviera, with magnificent houses which attracted here famous visitors such as W. Churchill, Greta Garbo or the Lumière brothers.

Some of the villas can be visited. But rather go to the Ephrussi de Rotschild house in St Jean Cap Ferrat to see something exceptional.

The main attraction in Cap d'Ail is its location.

Paved all the way long, you can enjoy it with almost any kind of shoes. It's an easy walk. It will lead you to Monaco. But, beforehand, you will have to walk along the Marquet beach and the port of Cap d'Ail. It's fairly ugly but fortunately, it's only the very last part of the path. You will walk under magnificient villas and enjoy an unobstructed view on the Sea.

It's easy to go there by train. By car, the problem is to park.
