Located in the Roya valley and perched above the river, Saorge is a stacked village with narrow alleys and slate roofed houses. It lays in a natural amphitheater of the valley.

There, you can visit a 17th century Franciscan monastery, a St Sauveur church with an italian 19th century organ, still payed, or swim in the Bath of the Semite. You can also see the ruins of the 3 castles defending the place and controlling the valley.
