With its harbour, its sand beach and its palm trees, its cliffs and its Greek villa, Beaulieu is a nice city and a place where you may want to stay on the Riviera, quieter than Nice. You can right now choose an hôtel in Beaulieu. The most famous one, but alas not the cheapest one is "la Réserve".
Beailieu, like all cities between Nice and Menton is very well protected from the cold winds by its cliffs and therefore benefits from an even better climate than the rest of the Maritim Alps.
The sea front along the baie des Fourmis (Ans' bay) is a really nice walk which continues as far as St Jean, the village in the Cape Ferrat via a pedestrian trail along the Sea, offering nice views and the cliffs and giving glimpses on the luxurious villas of the Cape. (See below).
In Beaulieu you should, in our opinion, visit the Villa Kerylos built by Théodore Reinach like it was an ancient Greek villa. A extraodinary monument.
